Iranian authorities executed Abdolrahim Narouei Rouzaneh, a 47-year-old Baloch prisoner from Zabol, in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd Prison). He had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
Based on information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Narouei Rouzaneh, a married father of nine from Zabol, Sistan and Baluchistan Province, was executed at dawn on Monday, September 14, 2026, in Dastgerd Prison.
Narouei Rouzaneh was arrested in Isfahan in 2019 on drug-related charges and subsequently sentenced to death by the Isfahan Revolutionary Court.
The Baloch man was transferred to solitary confinement on Saturday, September 12, in preparation for his execution, without his family being informed or allowed a final visit.
Iranian state media and judiciary-affiliated outlets have not announced his execution.
Executions in Zabol, Zahedan, Iranshahr, Jiroft
Iranian authorities executed at least five Baloch prisoners, Amanollah Nazarkhani, Hashem Rakhshani, Asghar Pishahang, Mohammad Mousazahi, and Yousef Abil, on drug-related charges in the prisons of Zabol, Zahedan, Iranshahr, and Jiroft.
Based on information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Amanollah Nazarkhani and Hashem Rakhshani, both from Zehak County, were executed in Zabol Central Prison at dawn on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Rakhshani, 34, was married and the father of two children.
Nazarkhani and Rakhshani had been arrested two years earlier in separate cases involving drug-related charges and were subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
On the same day, Asghar Pishahang, a 34-year-old Baloch prisoner from Zarabad County and father of three, was executed in Zahedan Central Prison. He had been arrested four years earlier on drug-related charges and subsequently sentenced to death.
Mohammad Mousazahi, a 34-year-old Baloch man from Zahedan who resided in Iranshahr, was also executed on drug-related charges in Iranshahr Central Prison. He was married and the father of two young children.
Yousef Abil, a 27-year-old Baloch prisoner from Zabol County, was executed at dawn the same day in Jiroft Central Prison. He was married and the father of two children and had been arrested two years earlier on drug-related charges.
The executions of the five Baloch prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
Execution in Jiroft
Iranian authorities have executed Farzad Ahmadpour, a 35-year-old Kurdish man from Saqqez who had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, at Jiroft Central Prison in Kerman province.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ahmadpour was executed at dawn on September 13, 2026, at Jiroft Central Prison.
Sources familiar with the case said Ahmadpour was arrested three years ago on drug-related charges and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
His family was granted a final visit with him the day before his execution.
Iranian state media and judicial authorities have not publicly announced the execution.
