Texas | Death Sentence For Illegal Alien In Murder Of Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy

(Texas Scorecard) – Oscar Rosales, an illegal alien with a violent record across two countries, will face the death penalty for gunning down a Harris County deputy. Rosales, a Salvadoran national living in Texas illegally, was found guilty of murdering Precinct 5 Constable Deputy Cpl. Charles Galloway in a January 2022 shooting. Rosales claimed it was a case of mistaken identity, alleging he believed the officer’s vehicle was occupied by cartel-affiliated strip club bouncers from a location he had visited earlier that night.

Nevada | Foreign national to face death penalty

Washoe judge clears way for trial in 4 2019 homicides A judge has cleared the way for a Salvadoran immigrant to be tried in Reno for all 4 homicides he’s accused of committing during a 6-day crime rampage in 2 northern Nevada counties in January 2019, but the trial is still at least months away. The Nevada Supreme Court ruled in March that Washoe County prosecutors lack jurisdictional authority to prosecute him in Reno for the 2 killings in nearby Douglas County. The high c...
