Iranian authorities executed Hossein Vahidpour and Farshad Pahlavani, convicted of murder in a joint case, at Semnan Central Prison last month.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Hossein Vahidpour, 24, and Farshad Pahlavani, 26, were executed at dawn on June 16, 2026, at Semnan Central Prison.
Sources familiar with the case said Vahidpour and Pahlavani were arrested about five years ago and accused of killing a friend, identified only as Alireza, in what was described as an honor-related killing.
The killing took place at a poultry farm owned by Pahlavani’s father, where both men worked, according to the sources.
Iranian state media and the judiciary had not publicly reported the executions.
Execution in Kashan
Iranian authorities executed 32-year-old Esmaeil Qaderi convicted of murder at Kashan Prisonon Wednesday.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Esmaeil Qaderi was executed on the morning of July 8, 2026, at Kashan Central Prison in Isfahan province.
Qaderi, a Kashan resident, was arrested three years earlier on a murder charge following a verbal and physical altercation. He was later tried by Branch 1 of the Isfahan Province Criminal Court and sentenced to death under Iran’s qisas, or retributive justice, laws.
Iranian state media and the judiciary have not publicly reported the execution.
Execution in Shiraz
Iranian authorities executed Hadi Alipour convicted of murder at Adelabad Prison in the southern city of Shiraz, according to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
Hadi Alipour, also known as Ehsan Alipour, was executed on May 6, 2026, at Shiraz Central Prison, also known as Adelabad Prison.
Alipour, a resident of Shiraz, had been arrested about three and a half years earlier on a murder charge and was later sentenced to death by an Iranian court.
Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, had not reported the execution.
