The Iranian Judiciary has carried out the executions of at least three prisoners in recent days, including two Baloch men, Aref Barahoui and Hossein Keshani, as well as Hassan Fatemi. They had been sentenced to death on charges of "drug-related offenses" and "premeditated murder."

Meanwhile, the execution of another Baloch prisoner, Hossein Keshani, 39, from Azadshahr in Golestan Province, was carried out in the early hours of Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Shahab Prison in Kerman. Authorities also executed Hassan Fatemi, a 24-year-old prisoner, on the same day at Sari Central Prison. He had been arrested four years earlier for the premeditated murder of his stepmother and was subsequently sentenced to death.
The executions of these three prisoners have not been announced by the Iranian Judiciary or reported by state-affiliated media outlets in Iran.

Execution in Qorveh
Iranian authorities executed Afshin Davoudi, a Kurdish prisoner from Qorveh who had been sentenced to death on charges of premeditated murder. The execution was carried out in January 2026 but is being reported by Hengaw for the first time following months of communication disruptions.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Davoudi was executed at dawn on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in Qorveh Central Prison.
Davoudi had been arrested in 2023 on charges of murdering Mohammad Safari in what was described as an “honor-related” case. He was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary after approximately one year of legal proceedings.
Iranian state media and judiciary-affiliated outlets have not announced the execution.
Due to internet disruptions and restrictions on the flow of information, news of Davoudi’s execution is being made public by Hengaw five months after it took place.
