Iranian authorities have executed two Lor prisoners, Mohammadali Hajihasani and Mahmoud Qaem, in separate cases at Yasuj Central Prison. They had previously been sentenced to death on charges of "premeditated murder" and "armed robbery," respectively.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions were carried out in the early hours of June 22, 2026. Hajihasani, 25, and Qaem, 28, were both from Yasuj.
Informed sources told Hengaw that Hajihasani had been arrested two years earlier on the charge of "premeditated murder," while Qaem had been arrested four years earlier on the charge of "armed robbery." Both were later sentenced to death.
Iranian state media and officials of the Iranian Judiciary have not announced the executions of the two men.
Executions in Kermanshah
Iranian authorities have executed two prisoners after they were convicted in separate cases of "premeditated murder." The executions were carried out in Kermanshah (Kermashan) and Semnan prisons.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Khosrow Ahadi, a 27-year-old Kurdish man from Kermanshah, was executed in the early hours of Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Kermanshah Central Prison.
Informed sources told Hengaw that Ahadi had been arrested approximately three years earlier on charges of "premeditated murder" and was later sentenced to death.
Authorities also carried out the execution of Khalil Panahi, a 58-year-old resident of Semnan, on the same day after he was convicted of "premeditated murder." Panahi had been arrested approximately three years earlier on the same charge and was later sentenced to death.
Neither execution had been announced by Iranian state media or the Judiciary's official media outlets.
Executions in Ahvaz, Qom
Iranian authorities have executed Saman Rashidi, a Lor man, and Vahid Salimi in separate cases. Rashidi and Salimi had previously been sentenced to death on charges of "premeditated murder" and "drug-related offenses," respectively.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Rashidi, a Lor man from Izeh, was executed in the early hours of Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province. He had been arrested five years earlier on charges of premeditated murder.
Meanwhile, Vahid Salimi, a 28-year-old man from Pakdasht, Tehran Province, was executed in the early hours of Monday, June 15, 2026, at Qom Central Prison (Langarud Prison). He had been arrested three years earlier on drug-related offenses and was subsequently sentenced to death.
Neither execution has been announced by Iranian state media or official outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
