RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has executed a native citizen.

The Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia has announced that the execution of a man named Basil Bin Suhail has been carried out. Basil was executed for killing a woman by hitting her with a car.

The case was that Basil had killed the young woman by hitting her with a car because of personal enmity.

Nuwair Bind Naji, a Saudi woman, was killed. Both belong to the Otaibah tribe.

The prosecution had presented a strong stand against the accused in the lower court, the appellate court and the Supreme Court by presenting various evidences.

The execution was carried out as per the government order as the family of the murdered woman was adamant that the accused should be given the death penalty.

The Ministry of Interior clarified that intentionally endangering another person's life is against national security under the law of Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Home Affairs reminded the country's law that no one has the authority to attack others or shed blood, and that intentional homicide is punishable by death.
