Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO); November 28, 2022: Hossein Kheirollahi, Saheb Rasouli and an unidentified man have been executed in Isfahan Central Prison.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were executed in Isfahan Central Prison on November 26. Their identities have been established as Hossein Kheirollahi and Saheb Rasouli who were sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
Another man was also executed at the prison on November 23. His identity or the charges leading to his execution have not been established.
At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
As of 10 October 2022, at least 428 people including two juvenile offenders and 12 women were executed by the Islamic Republic, an 89% increase compared to the same period last year. At least 180 people including a woman have been executed for drug-related offences since the beginning of the year. This is while 83 people were executed for the charges in the same period in 2021 and 18 in 2020.
Man Executed for Unknown Charges in Kashan
Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO); November 28, 2022: Keyhan Shakerpahani was executed for unknown charges in Kashan Central Prison.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Kashan Central Prison on November 26. His identity has been established as Keyhan Shakerpanahi but the charges leading to his execution have not been determined.
An informed source told Iran Human Rights: “Keyhan Shakerpanahi was transferred to Kashan from Isfahan Prison a few days prior to his execution.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
Man Executed for Drug Charges in Hamedan
Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO); November 21, 2022: Davoud Bahrami, a man sentenced to death for drug-related charges, was executed in Hamedan Central Prison.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Hamedan Central Prison on November 14. His identity has been established as Davoud Bahrami, a Hamedan native who was sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
An informed source told Iran Human Rights: “Davoud Bahrami was arrested for carrying drugs in Hamedan around three years ago and sentenced to death. They transferred him to solitary confinement on Friday afternoon and he had a last visit with his family."
Two other prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement along with Davoud that day but they were returned to their cells after obtaining extensions in their murder cases.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
Man Executed for Drug Charges in Birjand
Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO); November 21, 2022: Nasser Dehmordeh, a Baluch man without a birth certificate, was executed for drug-related charges in Birjand Central Prison.
According to Hal Vash, a Baluch man was executed in Birjand Central Prison on November 16. His identity has been reported as Nasser Dehmordeh, a Zabol native who did not have a birth certificate.
Following his arrest, Nasser was held in pre-trial detention for two years before being sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
