Condamné à 19 ans de prison pour trafic de drogue, le Français Félix Dorfin va être placé dans un complexe de haute sécurité. L’homme de 35 ans, originaire de Béthune, avait été condamné à la peine de mort après avoir été interpellé l’an dernier à l’aéroport de Lombok, une île touristique proche de Bali, avec trois kilos de drogues dans une valise à double fond. Sa peine a été ramenée à 19 ans de détention en août par la Haute cour de Lombok.

Un trou dans sa cellule

Alertés par des bruits suspects, les responsables de sa prison ont dit avoir découvert un trou dans sa cellule, creusé avec une pièce de métal issue d’un ancien conduit d’évacuation. « C’était encore trop petit pour qu’il passe à travers », a expliqué Tri Saptono Sambudji le chef de la prison de Mataram sur l’île de Lombok, à l’AFP.

Le Français avait déjà réussi en janvier à s’évader du centre de détention de la police et était parti en cavale pendant 11 jours. Finalement retrouvé dans une forêt du nord de l’île de Lombok où il se cachait, il avait été arrêté le 1er février.

Un transfert dans « l’Alcatraz indonésien »

Une policière a été arrêtée pour son aide présumée dans l’évasion, en échange d’argent.« Il a été placé à présent à l’isolement parce qu’il est considéré comme un détenu à haut risque », a souligné le chef de la prison de Mataram.

Les autorités avaient déjà prévu de transférer Félix Dorfin dans le complexe pénitentiaire de Nusakambangan (sud), surnommé « l’Alcatraz indonésien », une ancienne colonie pénitentiaire datant l’époque de la colonisation hollandaise qui comprend plusieurs prisons de haute sécurité.

Mais après sa nouvelle tentative d’évasion, il sera détenu avec un niveau de sécurité encore plus élevé, a remarqué Tri Saptono Sambudji.
