Iran: man executed over drug charges

Iran Human Rights, June 13: One prisoner was hanged in the prison of Isfahan (central Iran) early this morning Wednesday June 13.

Quoting the Isfahan prosecutor office, the Iranian news agency IMNA reported that a prisoner identified as "Jomeh R." was hanged early this morning convicted of keeping 9 kilograms and 950 gram morphine.

Iran Human Rights can not confirm the above mentioned charges.
