While Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) maintains a firm stance on the effectiveness of the death penalty in managing drug trafficking in Singapore, the article presents evidence suggesting that the methodologies and interpretations of these studies might not be as substantial as portrayed.

Pentobarbital sales on high, when will Lundbeck really act?

Lundbeck, the specialist manufacturer of sleeping pills and anti-depressant drugs, once again indulges in its usual masquerade of good intentions.

Yet again, Lundbeck fails to bring concrete answers to pull out of the trade death soon enough as it has become a master at anesthetizing us all and at killing so many.

The hiring of “external consultants to assess the most effective strategies” is a short step as, for all we know, a resolution to the problem could take months.

While this politically-correct posture is offered to the public, in order to appease its shareholders as well as the Danish and European institutions, Lundbeck must take responsibility for the killings of 13 American patients to date, as well as for the 29 patients whose death warrants have been signed so far for 2011 – and we are only at the beginning of June!

When so many lives are at stake, a positive move is far from satisfactory. Nothing will ever repair the damage done or the damage to come as many states have acquired sufficient stock of pentobarbital to continue murdering in the name of justice.

To mark this unique milestone, yesterday Lundbeck offered CEO, Mr. Ulf Wiinberg, 2,739 shares of the company, almost 211 shares per killing so far.

What kind of reward are you going to give Lundbeck for its continued murderous behavior?

Don’t give in to Lundbeck’s induced sleep, continue to ACT NOW until this shameful trade is definitely and finally over.
