Five Hanged in Iran

Iran Human Rights, December 1: Five prisoners were hanged in two different Iranian prisons today.

According to the official website of the Iranian Judiciary in Gilan (northern Iran) three prisoners were hanged in the prison of Rasht early Sunday morning.

The prisoners are identified as "R.N." convicted of murder, "K.S." and "H.D." convicted of possession of 1045 grams of crack and participation in the trafficking of 32 kilograms of opium, said the report.

The official website of the Iranian Judiciary in Hormozgan (southern Iran) reported about execution of two people in the prison of Bandar Abbas. According to this report the prisoners identified as "P.G." and "M. B." were convicted of murder and kidnapping.
